The annoying ad is GONE!!! I feared (correctly) that it was keeping people away, so I submitted a trouble ticket. I found out how to remove the ad and it’s not coming back.

For the time being, the Dropbox mirror stays. Dropbox is the backup copy in case the annoying ad comes back or the site crashes for any reason. Or maybe the next step will be to install the server tools necessary to host the site myself? Not entirely sure if I want to proceed that way or not.
