I will be posting a demo soon with a Rifle Corps added to the main group.

There are several (weasel word, I know) in the military-styled marching circles that don’t like to have any auxiliary units in the group. Others are a little more liberal about it. With myself, I’d much prefer seeing a rifle corps with a military-styled group than a flag corps. Rifles to me feel like they fit better with a precision-based group that would be a military-style band.

So if you like seeing the rifles on the field, great! If not, well, there’s always the previous ones and maybe the next demo.

Of course, seeing a group with an actual color guard would be much more preferable, but there are just too many fears of violating the US Flag code (usually a disqualification) to utilize them outside of a parade.

They were held yesterday!

As you can see here, there were a whole lot of groups participating in a show of military-styled marching.
