The Pickin & Grinin Group is back playing at the Rhems firehouse on US-17 Friday night from 7-9 PM. Join us playing country, bluegrass, oldies & gospel music or join the audience for an evening of free entertainment. We never know who will show up but usually have more than a dozen players and a full house audience.

    Come early at the Rhems firehouse and enjoy *hot dogs, drinks, chips, popcorn and baked goods for a minimal donation to the United Methodist Church next door.

* Special Notice: Hot dogs are available ONLY on the first Friday of each month

WEEKEND Rides: Cyclists depart from Flythe's Bike Shop on Trent Road Saturday at 8:30 AM and Sunday at 2:00 PM for a group ride that is usually around 30-35 miles weather permitting. 

Cyclists depart from Atomic Cycles Bike Shop on South Front St. Saturday at 7:30 AM for a fast 22-24 mph Pollocksville ride (Called STP - Shop To Pollocksville) and Sunday from the Garber United Methodist Church in Trent Woods at 8:00 AM for a 45-100 mile trip that will average about 20 mph.

MID WEEK Rides: The schedule for mid-week rides on Tuesday and Thursday departing Flythes and Atomic Cycles bike shops is shown on the NBCC webpage

Joe's trip for 2018 is a long wandering route from New Bern to San Francisco and back for 7860 miles. If any NBCC member wishes to join contact Joe at racerpigXXX@icloud.com (remove XXX). Send in total miles for 2017 every Monday before 8 PM to Joe.
