Not only at Sugar Hill but all along the Low Grade Division of the Allegheny Valley Railroad, he ministered at Lawsonham, Oak Ridge, Fairmont, Reynoldsville, DuBois and by his fruitful labors purchased unto himself a good degree and was advanced to the Priesthood by Bishop Whitehead on March 28, 1871. He died in 1904 aged seventy eight leaving a rich legacy of good work done for God." This church was Episcopalian and probably in DuBois, PA. Rev. Joseph Barber married Sarah Robinson b. 9-3-1822 d. xxxx and they had nine (9) children. Sarah Robinson was the daughter of John Robinson and Hannah Leigh, formerly natives of Cheshire, England.
