INDUCTION CATEGORY:

Individual Achievement: Bowlers in this category shall have received local and/or state and/or national and/or international recognition for their bowling prowess and have maintained a high average for a minimum of 15 years.

Meritorious Service: Outstanding volunteers who through their efforts and devotion to service improved the quality and standards of bowling and enriched the bowling experience for our members of the local and/or state and/or national and/or international levels in the sport of bowling for a minimum of 12 years.

Builder: Dedicated individuals in a volunteer capacity, who have contributed to the development and growth of our sport through the outstanding leadership (coach and/or administrator) at the local and/or state and/or national and/or international levels of bowling for a minimum of 12 years.

Grandfather Member: Bowlers in this category shall have maintained membership in the local association for at the minimum of 30 years and have shown a high level of sportsmanship/conduct and exceptional enthusiasm for the sport of bowling in the local Tyler association.

Award of Appreciation: Individuals or organizations, which have made an outstanding contribution to the promotion, development or sponsorship of bowling, shall be recognized as an associate member of the Bowling Hall of Fame of Tyler.

Dale served as President of the Board for 15 years from 1980 to 1994. He has served on the Board of Directors for 30 years from 1980 to 2010. He was voted into the Greater Tyler USBC Hall of Fame in 2008. Dale is also a life member.

Randy has bowled at a high level for many years carrying a 200+ average since 1992. He has proven to be a very prolific bowler achieving numerous 300s, 299s and 298s along with several 800s and numerous 700s. State and National championships he has also won along with local championships as well. He was voted into the Greater Tyler USBC Hall of Fame in 2009. Photo.

Dick served as Assistant Secretary - Treasurer of the Board for 1 year in 1968. He served as Secretary - Treasurer for 35 years from 1969 to 2003. He has served on the Board of Directors for 38 years from 1968 to 2005. He is also a life member. He was voted into the Greater Tyler USBC Hall of fame in 2009.

Dorothy has served as a Director since 1987. She has held positions of 1st Vice-President, 2nd VP, and Youth President and Vice President in that time, serving as the Tyler WIBC President from 2001-2005 and 1st VP from 2010-present. She was voted into the Greater Tyler USBC Hall of Fame 2011.

She was voted into the Greater Tyler USBC Hall of Fame in 2012.

Steve has served as Director from 1995 to 2012. He has held positions of President and Assistant Secretary - Treasurer in that time, serving as President from 1996-present and Youth President from 2006-2008. He was voted into the Greater Tyler USBC Hall of Fame in 2012.


DAVID EASTHAM

David has been in involved in sanctioned Tyler bowling since the late 1950's and has participated in over 20 Tyler Association Tournaments. Singles Champion in 1974/1977; Doubles Champion in 1968; Team Champion (Fashion Cleaners) in 1979. He has served as a member of various committees of the association including the Nomination Committee and the Hall of Fame Committee. He has served on the Board of Directors from 1971 to 1976, intermittently holding positions of 2nd Vice President, 3rd Vice President, and Director during those years. WILLIE GREGORY
GREGORY'S PHILLIPS 66
Award of Appreciation

Gregory's Phillips 66 teams were well sponsored by Willie, who had a passion for the game. Willie had been a member of the association prior to 1976. He sponsored teams in both men and women leagues. He bought shirts and paid team entries into the City Tournaments every year. Willie was an avid tournament bowler and introduced league bowling to his two sons. He served 9 years on the Board of Directors, elected in 1979. Willie passed away in 1992. He was voted into the Greater Tyler USBC Hall of Fame posthumously in 2013 and his son James accepted his award at the annual meeting. Photos: 1 | 2 | 3

She served as President in 1968 and 2006 to 2008. From 1969 to 1972, she served as Secretary of the WIBC in Tyler. Also served as Treasurer for the WIBC in Tyler for 1971-1972 along with Sargeant - At - Arms in 1975 and 1976. She served as 2nd Vice-President of the Tyler WIBC as well, in 2005. She was voted into the Greater Tyler USBC Hall of Fame in 2014.

Kenneth has served as Director from 1995 to 2009 and from 2012 to the present. He has given a great amount of his time and energy for years, not only with his instruction of the game, but through ball drilling and support for area bowlers. His talents and knowledge of the technical part of the game is greatly appreciated by local bowlers. He was voted into the Greater Tyler USBC Hall of Fame in 2014.
