MRS. CARRIE EURE
HAS PASSED AWAY
Much Beloved Woman of Eure Dies After Lingering Illness
Eure, Oct. 23 - Friday evening between 11 and 12 o'clock the Death Angel, who had been hovering near the bedside of Mrs. Carrie Eure for almost a week, unfurled its wings and bore the spirit home.
All was done for her that loving hands could do but to no avail. Her mission on earth was finished and God called her home.
Mrs. Eure had been an invalid for the past few years, but she bore her suffering with the greatest of patience and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Her cheerful face and bright smile will linger with us always as a cherished memory of the one we loved so well.
Her presence at church will be greatly missed for she was always ready to do her Master's bidding and attended church service as long as she was able.
She was a devoted mother and greatly loved by all who knew her as a friend and neighbor.
There is a place left vacant in her home that never can be filled, yet we realize that God's will must be done, and we feel that she was ready when the Master said to her, "Come."
Mrs. Eure was 80 years, 1 month, and 16 days of age, and had been united with Cool Spring Baptist Church since early girlhood.
Funeral services were conducted at Cool Spring Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock by her pastor, Rev. E. C. Andrews.
