The Paxton/Patterson ActionLAB is a multimedia and hands-on program designed for middle-school students that fosters growth in three key areas: technological awareness, academic performance, and social development. Students spend 10 days following a guided plan to gain understanding in each of the following modules: Alternative Energy, Computer Drafting, Information Technology, Robotics, Computer Numerical Control, Animation, Digital Music, Energy and Power, Electricity, and Video Production. Modules also include writing and research topics concerning the area of study as well as general career exploration activities designed to foster long-range thoughts on career paths.
