Opened two satellite branches for pregnant high school students -
Missouri Avenue and Corbitt Street, both previous neighborhood libraries. |

Opened three more satellite branches for students with behavior
problems - a Linwood Avenue service station converted to function as a
school, the Cooper Road Day Care Center converted to a school, and a
site at the Rutherford House for adjudicated students. |
